Missed Part 1? Check it out.
Meant to post this yesterday, but ran into some issues with regards to getting it up on YouTube. The file was actually too big, so we had to lower the resolution a bit. Not as clear as we’d like, but it works.
Anyways, check it out! Our Liars and Lunatics Behind-the-Scenes Featurette… At least Part One of it. We’ll be working on Part Two to post at a later date.
There was a bit of an ongoing joke regarding this word while we were on the set of the feature film Liars and Lunatics.
The reason? We always seemed to be rushing. Our director (Roberto Munoz) would call out some of his directions from the next room. There he sat, listening through a set of headphones and watching each take on a monitor. “Amazing!” “Beautiful!” “Wonderful!” were shouted out after a take as the cue to move on to the next camera set-up.
The further along we were in our shooting schedule, the more creative he got in his word-choice. Then, if he didn’t say anything, the actors would get nervous. “Didn’t that deserve a shout from the control room?”
It was more likely that Robert was trying to come up with a new adjective to call out: “Fabulous!”

We were notified today by Google Alerts of two articles on Roberto Munoz. But here’s the twist: Neither of the guys named Roberto Munoz is our Roberto Munoz.
Article #1 - Need work? See Roberto Muñoz
(Article by Andrea Gurwitt in the Herald News)
It’s about a guy who works at Community Action for Social Affairs which is an organization that helps people find housing, food and clothes, apply for heating and rental assistance and translate paperwork from English to Spanish. While our Roberto Munoz does speak Spanish, this is not quite what he does for a living (and he also has a lot less hair.)
Article #2 - “Romeo and Juliet Redefined” The Musical
(Article by Beau Higgins at Broadwayworld.com)
Here, Roberto Munoz is one of the Gulfshore Ballet artistic and executive directors. And get this, he’s going to be choreographing two pas de deux for the ballet! If you know our Roberto Munoz, even though he’s been producing and directing theatre for nearly 14 years, he’s definitely NOT a choreographer… We’re not sure he’s even seen a pas de deux!
So, who is OUR Roberto Munoz? He’s one of the filmmakers of the new indie feature film LIARS AND LUNATICS. He’s the founder of CubeCity Entertainment, Inc. which is a theatre and film company in the New York City area. (It’s rumored that he may even be one of the Moon Brothers, But we’re not sure we can officially reveal that information.)
You can read more about him in this interview.

{{Photo :: You might not be able to tell that it’s him, but it really is Roberto Munoz, director and producer of the feature film, Liars and Lunatics. Maybe he’s trying to hide his identity with that hat? }}
